Our whole reality is based on our movement through the many emotions we experience daily. Whether we are conscious of it or not our emotions carve a path through our lives and influence our choices and desicions, and make us who we are. Through creating portraits of emotions I highlight the influence they have over us. Each portrait integrates with the natural wood grain that I paint on. The grain that the paint follows helps illustrate the paths we take in life, and how our emotions influence the paths we pursue.
